This system consists of a 5kW Sunsynk inverter and 5kWh Hubble Lithium battery. The installation includes the following items: 1. 5kW Sunsynk inverter. 2. 5.5kWh Hubble Lithium battery 3. All DC cables, fuses (125A) and DC Disconnection device as required for safety and warranty purposes by the manufacturers. 4. 9 Way AC Distribution box with the following features: 4.1 Earth Leakage device for user safety in accordance with local regulations 4.2 3 x 3 Pin South African Plug sockets to supply the loads. 4.3 Circuit breakers to isolate and protect the Inverter. 4.4 Circuit breakers to protect the loads connected (similar to the ones in your existing mains DB Box) 4.4 Lightning Surge Protectors to protect the input of the inverter. 4.5 A two meter 2.5mm cable and 3 Pin Plug to power the system from the house supply (Eskom) Please note the following: This system is built using top quality equipment usually installed with full solar systems and can be upgraded to a full solar system with ease. When upgrading to a full solar system all the components supplied (except the DB box with the 3 Pin plugs) will be re-used. This significantly reduces the cost up the upgrade. The installation of the Inverter, Battery and Distribution box requires a minimal number of holes to be drilled into the wall and can easily be removed should you require the system to be re-located in future. The system is capable of supplying 5kW of instantaneous power with the full battery capacity. Since the system is powered from a standard plug (and not directly from the Mains Distribution box), the charging capacity will be limited to 2400W in order to protect the house's wiring. The system would require approximately 2 -2 1/2 hours to fully re-charge the battery if completely empty. As an example this system will power a LED TV or laptop, Fridge and a couple of LED lights for approximately 10 Hours or more depending on the make and model the equipment being powered. It is powerful enough to power a microwave, Kettle or other small appliances . This would however reduce the number of hours of backup power. Since this is a UPS backup system that is not integrated into the house's wiring, no COC certificate is necessary. Should you wish to have the system installed and integrated into your house's wiring, we can quote accordingly. Warranties are covered by the manufacturers and require the equipment to be installed according to their standards. Therefore we cannot provide warranty unless installed by ourselves. The price includes installation within 50km of Kempton Park. Additional travel costs may apply for additional travel distances.
