This system consists of a 5kW Sunsynk inverter, 5kWh Hubble Lithium battery and 6 545W JA Solar panels. The installation includes the following items: 1. 5kW Sunsynk inverter. 2. 5.5kWh Hubble Lithium battery 3. All DC cables, fuses (125A) and DC Disconnection device as required for safety and warranty purposes by the manufacturers. 4. AC Distribution box located close to the inverter including the following: 4.1 Isolator (2 pole) to power the inverter. 4.2 Circuit breaker (2 pole) to protect (and isolate) the cables supplying power essential loads 4.3 AC Lightning surge protectors on input and output of inverter. 4.4 Transfer switch to allow the customer to power the loads from either mains (Eskom) power or Inverter power. 4.5 Indication lights to indicate when Eskom and Inverter power is available. 5. Earth / Neutral Bridge in separate enclosure as prescribed by regulations. 6. Mains (Eskom) Distribution box additions: 6.1 Circuit breaker (2 Pole) to protect (and isolate) the cabling and power supply to the inverter. 6.1 Earth Leakage protection device for non-essential loads. 6.1 Separation of essential / non-essential loads with additional Neutral bar fitted internally. 7. DC PV Distribution box including: 7.1 DC Surge protection on PV cables from Solar panels 7.2 DC Isolator to remove DC power if necessary. 7.3 DC Fuse holders and DC fuses for safety and protection 8. Solar panel installation including: 8.1 All necessary mounting brackets and rails 8.2 6mm square double insulated PV cable to DC PV distribution box enclosed in plastic trunking, conduit or flex able conduit. 8.2 10mm square Earth cable from Solar panels to DC PV distribution box. 8.3 65mm square solid aluminium earth cable from solar panels to ground. 8.4 1.2m copper Earth spike(s) connected to 65mm earth (8.3 above) 9. Wiring from AC distribution box to Mains (Eskom) distribution box: 9.1 6mm square GP cable to supply power to the inverter 9.2 6mm square GP cable to supply power from the inverter back to the mains DB box 9.3 10mm square earth cable 10. Battery installation: 10.1 Fuse disconnection device 10.2 2 x 125A removable DC fuses 10.3 35mm square DC cable for connection the battery to the fuses and inverter 11. Installation 11.1 Installations are done according to regulations as well as best practice as prescribed by the PV Green card recommendations. 11.2 COC certificate will be issued for work done. 12. Additional info 12.1 A site inspection will have to be done to confirm cable distances, roofing material and structure, existing DB box and any possible additional changes that may be required 12.2 Any additional information or queries will be addressed during the site visit. 12.2 A formal quote will be provided with a projected solar performance chart based on the location, direction and slope of the roof. 12.3 Circuit diagrams of the system as well as the Distribution box(s) layout diagram will be provided Conditions: 1. The price includes installation within 50km of Kempton Park. Additional travel costs may apply for additional travel distances. 2. The distance between the solar panels and the inverter requires less than 25m of cable. 3. Single story roof or double with relatively flat roof. For high roofs with steep angles we require additional safety equipment. 4. All panel to be installed next to each other. We require approximately 7.2m x 2.5m of roof space for the 6 solar panels. 4. Inverter to be installed within 1 m of the mains (Eskom) distribution box.
